Glorious Gradients

I love colour, and I love combinations of colour. Which means I love gradients and ombres. Over the years I have developed a number of patterns specifically for use with gradient yarns, and this book offers a selection of these patterns.

As a dyer and spinner, I am used to preparing my own gradients to knit and crochet, so have included sections on dyeing and spinning. As it can be hard to pin your yarn to an exact thickness I have included many of my 'Any Yarn' patterns, some of which were first published in Yarn Maker.

Please note that this book is on gradients, not on knitting technique! I have used the pages for the patterns.

For the first time I have been joined in the production of the samples by some members of my Northen Lace Ravely group and i am very grateful for all their had work.
