Launch the Margaret Foster!

Launch the Margaret Foster! has been compiled by serving RNLI crew member, Graham Campbell, and details the missions (or "shouts" as they are known of the Kirkwall lifeboat from 2001 to 2013.

It is based on the actual returns of service reports that are written at the time and illustrated by the authors own photographs. The missions range from false alarms and the mundane to the daring, heroic and tragic.

The book gives a snapshot of the vital voluntary work carried out by one of the country's best known and supported institutions. It was inspired by an earlier book, Gracie Mickie & Margaret compiled by the late Stephen M. Manson.

Author's royalties from the sale of this book are being donated to the RNLI.
