A second volume of stories from Orcadian life-long farmer.

'A book consisting of the more printable stories passed on to me by others, who enjoyed reading my first book, "Hid's A'al in a Day's Wark".
I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the tales, and I have taken the liberty of slightly changing the settings and characters in the stories to protect the 'embarrassment' of the 'victims' from others who, given the opportunity, love to 'put the boot in'!
I enjoyed the yarns myself, full of 'traditional' Orkney humour, which I feel have a right to be recorded for the benefit of future generations of Orcadians - 'an ither folk fae aaf'! Everyday living is a serious business as we all know, but under the surface there is always humour to be found if we care to look for it.
Fairming is no different!'
