Join Our Team – Two Exciting Opportunities
1. Money Adviser
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £25,639 plus £2,397 Islands Allowance,
£783 essential car users allowance and 8% pension contribution.
Contract type: One-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension subject to ongoing funding.
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated Money Adviser to join our friendly team providing free, confidential debt advice to individuals and families across Orkney.
You’ll help clients manage debts, access benefits, and find long-term financial solutions.
Full training is provided – what matters most are your communication skills, empathy, and desire to make a difference.
2. Finance and Administration Assistant
Hours: 28 per week
Salary: £23,041(pro rata) plus £2,397 Islands Allowance(pro rata) and 8% pension contribution.
Contract type: Two-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension subject to ongoing funding.
We are also seeking a Finance and Administration Assistant to support our busy team with financial record-keeping and day-to-day office administration.
Key Requirements:
•Relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or administration
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Strong organisational and communication skills
