SHEARER. – Valerie passed away peacefully at The Balfour on 20th August, 2026, age 83. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Shearer and sister to Robert and Graham Oddie. She will be deeply missed by all her family and many friends who knew her. Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team who cared for her at The Balfour and to all her family and friends who visited and gave her support during her very long stay there.
SUTHERLAND.
SUTHERLAND. – Myrtle (nee Fergus) passed away peacefully on Friday, 21st August, at Macmillan, The Balfour hospital, aged 78 years. Much-loved mum, granny and dear friend to many. Sadly missed. Grateful thanks to all at Macmillan.
