EUNSON. – (Inverurie). Sadly, at Ashcroft Ward, Inverurie Hospital, on Thursday, 9th April, 2026, Robert (Robbie), aged 81 years. Beloved husband of Eileen, loving dad to Steven and Alison, father-in-law to Jillian and Craig and a devoted grandad to Isla, Eilidh, Murray and Logan. Funeral service to be held in Inverurie West Parish Church on Wednesday, 22nd April, at 11.30am, thereafter to Inverurie New Cemetery. All family and friends respectfully invited.  Family flowers only please but donations in lieu, if desired, in aid of Friends of Inverurie Hospital and R.N.L.I, welcomed at the church door.

GROUNDWATER. – Maurice Stanger, of Hall of Ireland, Stenness passed away at The Balfour on 4th April, 2026. A private cremation, by request, will be held at Aberdeen Crematorium.

GUTHRIE. – Rose Mabel (Rosemme) (nee Scott), formerly of 4 Mill Street, Kirkwall, passed away peacefully at Hamnavoe House on 9th April, 2026. Much-loved wife of the late Jim Guthrie; mum to Bruce, Susan and David; granny to Katy, Maddie, Jemma and Aimee; and great-granny to Ruairidh. Loving sister, cousin, aunt and friend. Funeral will take place at 2pm on Thursday, 16th April, from John G Corse Funeral Home. Friends please accept this intimation and invitation. No flowers please. Sadly missed and fondly remembered.  A good friend to many.

Beloved wife of the late Billy Mainland (Shapinsay), much-loved mum to Clive, Kirsten and Maxx, and granny to Che, Luc and Bodhi. Loving sister, cousin, aunt and friend to many here in Orkney as well as Australia. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
