CARDNO. –  Jennifer (Jenni) 2D Bridge Lane, Perth, formerly Westermill, Willowburn Road, passed away peacefully at Berstane Lodge, Kirkwall, on 22nd July, 2026, with her family at her side after a short illness bravely borne. Funeral to be held in Perth at her request. Sadly missed but at peace.

CLARK. – Teresa Valerie passed away peacefully on 19th July, 2026, at The Balfour hospital at the age of 88. She was beloved by her dog Dottie, close family and brothers and sisters around the world. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady & St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Kirkwall on 5th August, 2026, at 11am. Donations will be accepted for Clan.

CORMACK.  ~  Peacefully at The Balfour hospital on 19th July, surrounded by his family. Jim, aged 80, dearly loved husband of Isobel, devoted dad to Shonagh and Kevin, father-in-law to Lennie and Lucy, and loving and proud da to Magnus and Fraser. So dearly loved and so sadly missed.

DICKINSON. – Angela (Delday) passed away at Macmillan on 20th July after a brave battle. Loving wife to Michael, mum to Gina and Ian, mother-in-law to Kayleigh, sister to Richie and the late John, sister-in-law to Debbie and James, daughter-in-law to Patsy, auntie to Brett, Ariane and Robbie, and doting granny to Emily and Daisy. She will be greatly missed for her endless generosity, kindness and smile.

Formerly of ‘Norwood’, Mount Drive, Kirkwall, on Tuesday, 21st July, 2026, Muriel V Gray (nee Scott) aged 92 years.  Beloved wife of the late Maurice and a much-loved sister, aunt, great-aunt and great-grand-aunt to all in Orkney and Canada. Dearly loved and sadly missed.  Forever in our thoughts. Funeral will take place on Friday, 7th August, at 11.15am at St Magnus Cathedral to St Ola Cemetery.

Humphreys. – Paul.  Dearly loved husband of Rona, son of June and the late John, dad of George and Emily, brother of Vince, uncle and grand uncle, passed away unexpectedly on the 16th of July.  A friend to many who will be sadly missed.  A memorial service will take place at St Magnus Cathedral, at 12noon on Monday, 3rd of August, followed refreshments and an opportunity to share stories at the British Legion.  All welcome.

MEASON. – Elizabeth Peace (nee Twatt) died peacefully at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh on 23rd July, 2026, aged 79, after a short illness. Liz was a beloved wife to James, mum to Bev and Morven, and devoted granny to Cameron, Ellie, Rosie, Thorfinn, Jack and Lauren. A private funeral will take place in Edinburgh, and on Thursday, 8th October a celebration of her life will be held in St Magnus Cathedral.
