GUTCHER. – Alexander (Allie) passed away peacefully in The Balfour hospital on 15th June aged 88 years. Much loved husband, dad, grandad, great-grandad, brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed by all.
McARTHUR.
McARTHUR. – Marina, devoted wife of the late John, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Monday, 22nd June, age 86. Sorely missed by all the family.
SCOTT.
SCOTT. – Norman Hugh, aged 76, passed away peacefully on 13th June, 2026, with family by his side in Sippy Downs, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Dearly missed by his wife Maree, her family, and the family of Bethia and Sydney Scott, Antabreck, North Ronaldsay.
SINCLAIR.
SINCLAIR. – Jemima Breeze, sadly passed away on 19th June, 2026. A beautiful and vibrant character known and loved by many. A wife, mum, granny, great- granny, sister, aunt, mother-in-law and friend. A woman with a brilliant sense of humour. A local style icon. A kind person. A non judgemental, caring and empathetic soul full of generous spirit and love. A graveside service will be held in Stromness Kirkyard, 11am, Wednesday, 8th July, 2026. All attendees are invited to join friends and family afterwards in celebration of her life. Donations gratefully received to Orkney Blide Trust in Jemima’s name.
