Death Notices

JOHNSTON. – Peter Spence passed away peacefully at home on Monday, 23rd March, at the age of 82, after a sudden but short illness. Much-loved husband of Margaret and dad to Brian, father-in-law to Sarah and adored and devoted grandad to Lauren. A private funeral will take place at John Corse Funeral Home on Wednesday, 8th April. Special thanks go out to Phyllis Sutherland and the whole team at Stromness Surgery for their help and support throughout this difficult time. Donations for Stromness Surgery will be gratefully received.

MORRISON. – Peacefully at home in Stromness on 23 March, Catherine (Kitty) aged 96. Much loved mother to Michael, Pearl, Kathleen and Angus and devoted “Granny Orkney” to Arthur, Ethan, Jemma, Jamie, Cameron and Kirsten. Beloved auntie to Archie.

Private funeral to be held at her request. Deeply missed and fondly remembered always.
