Roadworks in Kirkwall

Orkney Islands Council is due to carry out planing out and resurfacing  work on Kirkwall’s Pickaquoy Road, from tomorrow.

A section of the road near the junction with Tesco will be closed from midnight until 6am, with closures at similar times over the following two or three days.

A diversion route via Great Western Road will be in place between these hours.

This work is will coincide with resurfacing at the entrance and exit to Tesco.
