Bridge Street accident

Bridge Street in Kirkwall was closed to traffic this morning, after a road accident which resulted in a car blocking the roadway outside the Orkney Property Centre.

Speaking shortly before 10am, a spokesman at Kirkwall Police Station said that arrangements were being made to remove the vehicle, which had struck the wall of the property centre, before coming to rest in the middle of the road.
