Darts players set for Masters challenge

The Orkney Masters darts tournament is due to be held at the Pickaquoy Centre today.

The event, which will see eight local players pit themselves against a professional opponent, is set to get under way at 1.30pm.

BDO world number one Stephen Bunting will be joined in the county by PDC counterparts Vincent Van Der Voort, John Henderson, Ian White, Dean Winstanley, Dave Chisnall, Robert Thornton, and John Webster.

Each pro will be drawn against a local player who  secured their place at the showpiece through a qualifier held earlier in the year .
