As expected by Serco NorthLink yesterday, the Hamnavoe is back on the Pentland Firth route this morning, for the first time in a month since suffering major engine problems.

The freight ship Helliar  has now been taken off the Stromness Scrabster service.

However, sailings between Lerwick and Aberdeen operated by their freight ship Hildasay  have been disrupted due to a technical fault with the pitch control on the starboard propeller.
