Kirkwall roadworks warning
Orkney Islands Council is warning the public of road works disruption in the Palace Road area of Kirkwall this week.
BT Openreach is installing a new service duct around the Palace Road/Dundas Crescent/School Place junction, which will have a knock on effect on the Dundas Crescent/Thoms Street junction.
The works will be carried out over five days, between January 21 and 25. Â Traffic will be controlled by four-way traffic lights which will inevitably lead to traffic delays.
