Local Government election candidates for Orkney are revealed

The full list of candidates who have come forward to stand in the Local Government election in Orkney on May 3 is now available to view on the OIC website.

They are:

Kirkwall East – Janice Annal, Paul Dawson, Steven Heddle, Alastair MacLeod, Gerry McGuinness, John Mowat, Gwenda Shearer and Bill Stout.

Kirkwall West and Orphir – Lynda Baird, Alan Clouston, David Dawson, Walter Haywood, Laurence Leonard, Bryan Leslie, Jack Moodie, John Richards, Sandra Shearer, Raymond Smith and David Tullock.

Stromness and South Isles – John Brown, Rob Crichton, Maurice Davidson, Delia Mary Hill, Arthur Robertson, James Stockan,  and Terry Thomson.

West Mainland – Andrew Appleby, Alistair Gordon, Carol Granere, Harvey Johnston, Jimmy Moar, Victor Muir, Eoin Scott, Owen Tierney and David Ward.

East Mainland, South Ronaldsay and Burray – Andrew Drever, Jim Foubister, Ewan Loudon, Eleanor Macleod, Russ Madge, Ken Ross and Gill Smee.

North Isles – Stephen Clackson, Stephen Hagan, Graham Sinclair and Gillian Skuse.
