One fatality following house fire

Police have yet to identify the person who died following a house fire in Orphir on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, around 1pm on Saturday, Highlands and Islands Fire and Rescue Service attended the fire, understood to be in the Scorradale area of the parish, where one person was found dead.

Details will not be released until all next of kin have been informed.
