Parish Cup semi-finalists to be revealed this weekend

The four teams that will contest the semi-finals of The Orcadian Parish Cup will be revealed this weekend.

The first of four quarter-final second-leg fixtures gets under way today, with Firth hosting South Ronaldsay at 3pm. The West Mainland side hold a 1-0 aggregate lead, after winning in St Margaret’s Hope last weekend.

Then, at 7pm, Birsay visit Stromness, looking to overturn a 6-2 deficit from the first leg.

Tomorrow sees Westray host Holm at 1pm. The island side were defeated 3-1 at the Rockworks in the first leg.

The final last-eight tie of the weekend is due to kick off at 3pm, with Sandwick heading to the Bignold Park to take on St Ola. The West Mainland outfit hold a 2-1 advantage over the holders, following their midweek first-leg win in Dounby.

The draw for the semi-finals of the Parish Cup is due to be made live on BBC Radio Orkney on Monday morning.
