Parish Cup semi-finals

Both of the semi-final ties in The Orcadian Parish Cup are still firmly in the balance, as the first leg of both clashes finished in the away team winning by a one goal margin.

St Ola defeated their West Mainland counterparts Sandwick 3-2 yesterday afternoon. Goals from John MacIntosh, Fraser Allan and Steven Tulloch give last year’s winners a slim advantage going into the second leg. A James Baillie strike and an own goal contributed to Sandwick’s tally.

The other semi-final  resulted in a 3-2 win for South Ronaldsay over Holm. Timon Sitte, Jamie Drever and Andrew Cromarty scored, with Magnus Flett and Scott Rendall replying for the home team.

The second leg fixtures will be played on Sunday July 15.
