Police appeal for information after posts are damaged

Police in Kirkwall are appealing for information after two road side posts were found damaged on the Kirkwall to Stromness Road, at the junction with the A986 Finstown to Harray Road.

It is believed that the incident happened at around 2.55am on Sunday October 26.

A motor vehicle was seen in the area around the time of the incident and the driver of that vehicle may have information regarding it, police believe.

Police are urging anybody with information to phone Kirkwall Police Station on 101.
