SCDA festival begins

The Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA), Orkney District, One Act Play Festival kicks off tonight, in the new Orkney Theatre at Kirkwall Grammar School.

The event will run over five nights, featuring a programme of 13 short plays in total, from several of the county’s drama clubs and societies.

The overall winner will be announced on Friday, February 28.

The festival will be adjudicated this year by Walker Ewart from Northern Ireland.
