Registration for the competition is at 11am, with the draw taking place at noon and the tournament kicking off at 1pm.

Rugby competitions for youngsters of all ages are also taking place, with times and further information available in this week’s The Orcadian and at the Orkney Rugby Club website at www.orkneyrfc.co.uk

The sporting fun continues on Sunday in the form of hockey, with the annual Kirkwall Ladies’ Challenge Cup tournament being contested at Picky.

The competition is set to get under way at 10.30am, with Dounby going for their third title in a row.
