Sichel to take on ‘Mount Everest of ultra-marathons’

Scot, first Brit, and first person over 60, to compete in the World’s Longest Footrace later this year.

William, from Sanday, is aiming to complete the Sri Chinmoy Self Transcendence 3,100 Mile Race within the 52-day time limit.

Described as the ‘Mount Everest of ultra-marathons’, the 18th edition of the event will, once again, take place on a half-mile street circuit in Queens, New York, from June 15 to August 6.
