Ballast water drop-in session

A drop-in session, as part of a consultation on an updated environmental assessment of a possible change to Orkney Islands Council’s ballast water management policy, takes place on Wednesday.

The event takes place in the Kirkwall Town Hall, from noon to 7pm.

The SEA will be available, at www.orkneyharbours.com,  for public consultation until September 27.

The results of the consultation will be considered by islands councillors later this year before they debate whether to implement a change in policy.
