Bill Bailey to return to Orkney

Stand-up comedian Bill Bailey is set for a return visit to the Orkney on Saturday, May 19 — this time at the Pickaquoy Centre in Kirkwall.

Tickets, priced £17.50, go on sale at 9am on Saturday from Grooves, and are sure to be snapped up after the Somerset-born funnyman went down a storm during his gig at Fusion nightclub last time.

Neil Stevenson, of Grooves, said: “Bill’s last show in Fusion sold out very quickly so it’s great that he has decided to make a return trip to Orkney and play to a larger crowd.

“This gig will be in the main arena at Picky so there will be around about 1,200 tickets available.

“It is an all age show and I am expecting a real mix of ages to attend.”
