Community council nominations deadline

People wishing to stand for election to Orkney’s community councils are reminded to get their nominations in as soon as possible.

The extended deadline for nominations is 5pm on Monday.

Individuals can stand to represent the area in which they live.

Prospective candidates need to collect a nomination form from the Orkney Islands Council and return it by the above date.
