‘Enjoy Wild Orkney’ ready to launch

RSPB Scotland has recently created two new posts on Orkney in order to drive forward the Enjoy Wild Orkney project.

After a successful recruitment process, the RSPB Orkney team have appointed Julian Branscombe as project officer and Anne Bignall as community engagement officer.

Julian said: “I am really looking forward to getting the project up and running. It will be great to give people more opportunities to enjoy wildlife. The project aims to do that in a really exciting way by expanding the CCTV viewing possibilities and developing an “Outdoor Orkney” nature festival. I am also very pleased to have the chance to work with local communities to develop new viewing structures and interpretation”.

Julian and Anne will be at the County Show on August 11, in the RSPB tent, to spread the word about the  project.
