Extra seats to be added to Kirkwall — Aberdeen flights
Loganair has announced that there will be additional seats on some flights between Kirkwall and Aberdeen this summer.
From Wednesday, April 25 until Thursday, October 25, a larger aircraft is set to operate on the Wednesday and Thursday afternoon service between Kirkwall and Aberdeen, providing almost 2000 extra seats over the next six months.
The 2.45pm Aberdeen to Kirkwall service and the 4.10pm Kirkwall to Aberdeen return trip will both be boosted with an extra capacity, 50-seat Saab 2000 aircraft.
“We are delighted to be able to offer more seats on our key Aberdeen to Orkney route during the busy summer period,” said Kay Ryan, Loganair’s commercial director.
“It reflects increasingly strong demand from both the leisure and business traveller, and the growing popularity of the Orkney Islands.”
