Ferry tariff consultation extended

Due to recent bad weather and resulting postponed public meetings, the OIC’s Orkney Ferries tariff review consultation has been extended and will now end on January 4, 2012, at 5pm.

The consultation seeks views from the public on the way that Orkney’s internal ferry services are charged for across the county.

The final public meeting will be held in Rousay on December 19, at 7.30pm, in the Rousay community school hall. A boat will be available to take attendees from Egilsay and Wyre back to those islands at the end of the meeting.
