Former arts theatre on the market

Orkney Islands Council has put the former Orkney Arts Theatre, in Kirkwall’s Mill Street, on the market.

Built as a Temperance meeting hall towards the end of the 19th century, it was refurbished and converted in the 1960s into a 324 seat arts theatre.

The council is inviting offers over £78,000.
