Gold for St Magnus Ale

Swannay Brewery’s St Magnus Ale has been awarded gold in the Strong Bitters category of the Small Independent Brewers (SIBA), National Beer Competition 2012.

The beers were judged at The Canal House, in Nottingham, in February and the results were announced at the SIBA Industry Day, earlier in March.

The beer will now be showcased on the SIBA bar at the Great British Beer Festival at Olympia in London, in August this year, during the Olympic Games.
