In order to provide an improved Sunday excursion timetable to Outer North Isles this summer, Orkney Islands Council is seeking information and key dates from the users of the service.

The information gathered will be used to schedule ferry excursions for key dates and events and also to find out whether additional trips in to Kirkwall or inter-island trips would be preferred.

Running from May to September, the Orkney Ferries excursions timetable currently sees ferries travel to several of Orkney’s outer islands in one trip – offering tourists and locals a way to see several islands in one day and explore different sides to the county.

The survey can be completed online here. Paper copies are available on the ferries, at the Orkney Ferries office or can be sent out on request. The closing date is Wednesday, February 27.
