Invitation to come and make a difference

People in Orkney are being invited to come and make a difference at a special event in the St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall, today.

The event will mark Make a Difference Day, and is being organised by Voluntary Action Orkney.

Every year tens of thousands of people get together to make a difference in their communities for Community Service Volunteers (CSV)Make a Difference Day, the UK’s biggest day of volunteering.

The event runs from 11am until 3pm.
