New book adds to ongoing story of Kirkwall lifeboat

A new book, which updates and charts the often dramatic rescue missions carried out by Kirkwall lifeboat, is being launched at The Orcadian Bookshop, today, Saturday.

Launch the Margaret Foster has been written and compiled by long-serving Kirkwall lifeboat crew member Graham Campbell, with all profits from the sale of the book going directly back to the RNLI.

Graham will be carrying out a book-signing session of his publication at The Orcadian Bookshop on Saturday, between 2pm and 4pm.
