NHS annual review

NHS Orkney’s annual review takes place at the Pickaquoy Centre, Kirkwall, this afternoon.

Over recent years, the NHS Orkney annual review has been chaired by either a Scottish Government cabinet secretary or minister, but NHS board chairman John Ross Scott will be in charge of this year’s event.

“While my drawing power obviously pales to that of Nicola Sturgeon I intend to experiment with the format and try and allow the public more say. I would encourage everyone to come along and assess whether what we are trying to do works.”

The annual review begins at 4pm this afternoon, Tuesday, in the New Phoenix Cinema.
