OIC carrying out surface dressing

Weather permitting, Orkney Islands Council will be carrying out surface dressing and road marking over the next few days. The roads affected are:

• South Ronaldsay — A961, Quoyangry to Serrigar Road and Flaws Road to Cleat Road.

• West Mainland — Brodgar Road (Bockan to A967), Yesnaby Road and Borwick Road.

Cars and light vehicles will be subject to diversions where possible, while buses and heavy goods will experience delays and speed restrictions.

The council apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but would greatly appreciate the public co-operation with these restrictions in the interests of road safety.
