‘Orkney Images’ on show

Tomorrow, Saturday, Orkney Museum will celebrate the approach of summer with the opening of Orkney Images, an exhibition of work by well-known local artist Chloe Jowett.

Chloe studied at Edinburgh College of Art under luminaries such as Robin Philipson, and first visited Orkney some 45 years ago. She bought a cottage in Longhope, her base for many painting trips before moving there permanently seventeen years ago.

Chloe’s work has been seen in mixed and one-person shows, and collected by local people as well as visitors.

Her latest exhibition will run until April 26.
