Police appeal following assault in Kirkwall town centre
Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault took place in Mounthoolie Lane, Kirkwall, in the very early hours of Sunday, April 1.
It is thought that it the incident took place at 15 minutes past midnight. Police have said that it appears there was a verbal disagreement within the Bothy Bar that continued into the lane outside, which resulted in a forty-year-old male being assaulted by two other men.
Police would like to speak to anyone from inside the bar that saw the disagreement or who may have been outside and saw the assault take place.
