Public consultation on possible voluntary sector move

Orkney Islands Council and Voluntary Action Orkney are inviting feedback from the Orkney public on a potential move by VAO and other voluntary organisations into Kirkwall Town Hall.

The building is currently owned and managed by OIC. Anyone wanting to give their views on the potential move can attend a drop-in session on Saturday, June 23, between 9am and 2pm in the foyer of Kirkwall Town Hall.

An online questionnaire is also available via the council’s website www.orkney.gov.uk and from VAO’s Facebook and Orkney Communities webpages.

The consultation will close on July 30.
