Public meetings for new hospital plans
Tonight will see the first of three public meetings held in the county to discuss the plans to build a new hospital and supporting healthcare facilities at Corse West, Kirkwall.
Tonight’s meeting will start at 7pm and will be held in King Street Halls, Kirkwall. This will be followed by a meeting in the Stromness town hall on Tuesday, July 9, with a final public meeting taking place on the following Thursday, July 11, in the St Andrews community hall.
NHS Orkney say that they are keen to get the public view on the siting of the new development and how it will be accessed.
