Roadworks in Orphir and Flotta

Weather permitting, Orkney Islands Council will be carrying out surface dressing and road marking operations from tomorrow, Monday.

The areas affected are:

• Orphir: Breck Road and Orakirk Road
• Flotta: B9045, Pier – Cattle Grid; B9045, B046 – Banks Road; Balaclava Road

According to the council temporary road closure will be in place for the duration of works, which will involve delays for all vehicles – but every effort will be made to keep delays to a minimum.
