Sheriff court correction

In the sheriff court section of this week’s paper (page 10) it states that Kirkwall man Gordon David Docherty has been charged with having unlawful sex with a 13-year-old girl.

However, we have been asked to point out that the charge against Docherty actually states that the girl had attained the age of 13 years, but not attained the age of 16 years.
