Sichel to defend six-day title

Orkney ultra-marathon runner William Sichel is due to start the defence of his Hungarian 6-Day road race title today.

The race, taking place in Balatonfured in western Hungary, is set to start at 11am UK time and will conclude at 11am on Tuesday, May 14.

William, 59, won the event in 2011, with an outright British record 0f 518.31 miles, and hopes to perform well again this year.
