Thorfinn secure Highland Amateur Cup final spot

Kirkwall Thorfinn booked their place in the final of the 2013 Highland Amateur Cup with a 2-1 victory over Pentland United this afternoon.

It was a deserved win for Thorfinn, who from the kick-off at 1pm controlled the majority of the match, played before a sizeable crowd at Picky in Kirkwall.

Kyran Taylor scored in either half for the hosts, who will go on to face another Caithness side — Wick Groats — in the final next Saturday.
