Young Farmers gather for 2016’s first ploughing match

The county’s first ploughing match of the year is scheduled to go ahead today, Saturday.

The Orkney District Association of Young Farmers’ Club match kicks off at Backakelday Farm, Holm, at 9.30am.

The prize reading is due to take place at the Quoyburray Inn at 8.30pm.
