South Ronaldsay dig features in TV documentary

The ongoing excavation at The Cairns, in South Ronaldsay, in particular the human jawbone discovered deposited on the Iron Age site in the summer, will feature on television on Tuesday night.

The Archaeology Institute UHI dig is one of the projects featured in the BBC Four television programme Digging for Britain, which is due to be broadcast at 9pm on Tuesday, December 13.
