Police — Hallowe’en went well, despite minor incidents

Police in Kirkwall say that Hallowe’en celebrations this year went well, despite a few minor incidents.

A spokesman said: “Police in Kirkwall wish to thank all local shops who assisted police with enquiries leading up to events at Hallowe’en, which passed with a few minor incidents of antisocial behaviour being reported.

“Officers were on patrol during the day and all evening all over Orkney and the event went well.”
