Admitted sending offensive messages

A Kirkwall man has had his sentence deferred for six months for him to be of good behaviour after sending offensive voice mail messages to a woman on Saturday.

Appearing from custody on Tuesday (april 10) , 20-year-old Sam Robert Coombes, of Whitechapel, Kirkwall, pleaded guilty to sending messages that were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character.

Coombes was released on bail and ordered to return to court on October 10.
