All set for Orkney Live Aid

Ten live music acts will take to the stage tonight, fundraising for victims of the typhoon Haiyan victims in the Philippines.

A wealth of musical talent will take to the stage in Matchmakers, in aid of a In a local campaign, launched by Kirkwall’s Kristian Cooper.

Kirkwall City Pipe Band will open the show at 7pm, followed by performances from Aidan and Halina; Heather MacLeod, Jackalope; Charlotte Wallhead; Replay; The Tribe; Hybrid Constellation and The Hoodoo Men.
