BAFTA-winning filmmaker visits final Digicult screening
The final Pheonix Cinema screening of short films under the Digicult Scottish Shorts Cinema Tour is to be held tonight and will feature a special guest.
BAFTA-winning writer and filmmaker Ainslie Henderson will be attending the event and answering questions following the screening of a series of short films, one of which will be his short animation Monkey Love Experiments.
Mr Henderson is also a well-known singer-songwriter, best known for appearing in the first series of Fame Academy in 2002, coming fourth overall, and going on to have a Top 5 hit with his single Keep Me A Secret.
Scottish Shorts 2014 will show in the Pickaquoy Centre’s Phoenix Cinema at 6pm tonight.
The short films being shown have a recommended age rating of 15 and will run for 73 minutes, after which there will be a 30-minute Q&A session with Mr Henderson.
