Costa windfarm meeting in Birsay
A public information meeting for a planned wind turbine development at Costa, is to be held in the Birsay Hall tonight.
At the meeting, agents for the windfarm, Hoolan Energy will be speaking with the West Mainland’s community councils about the plans to erect five 125-metre-high turbines in the area and the required infrastructure needed to attach the turbines to Orkney’s electricity grid.
The meeting is due to start at 7.30pm.
