East Mainland Show win for Biggings

A Charolais heifer in calf called Baillieston Elsa took the Champion of the Yard title at the East Mainland Show this afternoon.

The two-year-old, shown by W. R. Baillie, Biggings, Toab, took the top honours, after the final decision on the winner resulted in a deadlock –  for the first time in the show’s history – between the cattle and horse champion.

Show president Davie Summers made the final decision and opted for the cattle champion.
