Fish carrier towed into Stromness
The live fish carrier Norholm, which was at the centre of an emergency operation after losing power on Sunday, was towed into Stromness in the early hours of this morning.
The boat, with four crew onboard, broke down off Cape Wrath, with the rescue operation involving Lochinver and Thurso lifeboats, as well as the Stornoway based Coastguard rescue helicopter.
The Coastguard emergency tug Herakles was tasked to the scene, and towed the vessel into Scapa Flow yesterday.
The workboat Voe Viking then took her alongside in Stromness, arriving shortly after midnight.
