Fourth day with no new COVID cases

No new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Orkney during the past 24 hours — the fourth successive day in which this has occurred.

The last positive case of the virus in Orkney was recorded on Saturday, January 30. The last time Orkney went this long without recording a case was in mid-January when total case numbers since the start of the pandemic stood at 45.

Today, that number stands at 62.
