Green light for The Brig Larder

An application from Scott & Miller LLP for a provisional premises licence has been approved by Orkney Islands Licensing Board.

The license was sought by local businessmen, George Stout of Jolly’s of Orkney and Thorfinn Craigie of Craigie Butchers, for their new retail venture, The Brig Larder.

The shop, which is to open in September, will be housed at 1 Albert Street — the former Grooves — and will offer customers, fresh butcher meat, fresh fish and wines, spirits and beers, all under one roof.
